Yunny and Ozzie in Tagaytay
It was really such a nice weekend. Ozzie and I went to Tagaytay. We have planned for this a long time back, and we finally went for our 4th year anniversary.
We ate at Sonya's Secret Garden for lunch… a place long been heard, long been read, and long been talked about. The place was quite happy, it was filled with a foray of flowers (it was a garden, after all) and a set meal was served (the waitress said the set meal is a constant, it was what they serve all the time).
We think it's overrated though... or we were expecting too much. Everybody was giving exceptionally good comments about the place. Although the place was nice and food was good, it wasn’t quite what we expected it to be. Not to mention, something vital is missing… guess what? The Taal Volcano view!
We went to Starbucks (Tagaytay) afterwards… and we got what we wanted… a nice view of Taal Volcano, the smallest active volcano in the world. It was what we went to Tagaytay for, after all. It was really lovely. The surrounding lake was so serene… and quite romantic. It made all our worries go away, even just for a moment. It’s just one of the places wherein you just gaze in awe, and then you feel your problems melt away. It was great sharing that experience with my Ozzie. We watched the sunset in Tagaytay.
Ozzie and I talked for a while. It has been quite some time since we talked. I mean, we literally wake each other up in the morning, go to the office with each other, eat lunch and dinner together, and go home together (though we live in separate places, silly… but his house is just a few blocks from mine) but we seldom talk about the important things… things such as our lives and our future plans.
We went back to the hotel afterwards. Our room had a spectacular view of Taal volcano.
We woke up at around 6 in the morning. The sunrise was breath-taking. I just wish I had taken a picture of it.

I just love being with my Ozzie. He makes everyday worth looking forward to.
