cK-Lyt and boyfriends

Today was a relatively quiet day at work, so I managed to get out of the office earlier than usual to have a dinner with ck-lyt and boyfriends. Of course, we just called Tere so she'd be part of the fun. We met with Yeye and her boyfriend Dennis, Karla nd her boyfriend Noel and Luanne. I came with Ozzie to meet the gang at Soul Food in Greenbelt 3.

Happy. It's been a while since we all got together.
I'm happy I'm with Ozzie to go out with during couples' night out (well... almost all are couples)
Of the 3 boys that we were with, Ozzie is the sweetest, cutest and most adorable little thing. I really just don't know what I'd do without him. He makes my day brighter. Cliché, but true.

He makes the worst day happy. He's what I wake up for everyday.

Friday night out

Ozzie and I and several of my teammates (3 of which are foreigners, two from China and the other from Korea). My local teammates went ahead to commute via the MRT, while Ozzie and I picked up the visitors from the Hotel.

Good thing Ozzie went with me to pick them up from the hotel. It must have been some awkward silence if he weren’t there. Let’s just say my Ozzie is ma-chika.

Anyway, we went from the Manila Pen to Gateway mall. We were babbling about how traffic was really bad here in Manila. It was a Friday Night so we were expecting really heavy traffic. Much to our surprise, the traffic was quite moderate. I guess luck was on our side, much like the first scene in Meet the Fockers. It was quite freaky though. EDSA, on a Friday night, no traffic?!?! Weird.

We went to Gateway mall to eat dinner and watch a Movie. Ozzie bought the tickets while we were waiting for our other teammates. We decided to eat at Taco Bell, the first one here in the Philippines. It was just recently put up.

Anyway, just as luck would have it, I spilled my drink on the floor (and on our food) while getting another glass for my Ozzie. It was a clumsy day yesterday, actually. For lunch, I dropped a whole box of potato wedges and mayo on Caw (we named my Ozzie’s car, “Caw”), twice. I then hurt my toe in the escalator of Gateway. Ouchie.

Anyway, back to the topic. The taco was fine. It was just a regular taco. The chicken quesadilla was good though. But hmm… it’s quite pricey. I can make a better taco than that with much lesser funds.

The movie was hilarious. The first one was better, but the second one is good enough. I found the “Ash-whooole” stuff really funny… and cute.

After the movie, Dave went to get his car (he lived nearby) to accompany the foreigners to the hotel. I didn’t understand though, why they didn’t ask us to bring them back to the hotel.

We went to Coffee bean and Tea Leaf to wait for Dave. The baristas were outstandingly slow. It took us quite a while to get out drinks.

After some discussion whether we were still hungry or not, Ozzie and I decided to eat at North Park. It was quite ok, since I was craving for noodles myself (In the scene where Greg and Pam were having a pre-wedding party, Pam’s hair was so curly it reminded me of Pancit Canton). I decided to go for Congee, because I realized I was craving for Pho Hoa noodles, not North Park noodles. Ozzie had his usual noodles. We were in there for more than an hour since I was so full already, I couldn’t finish my food.

We went home almost happy. Until Ozzie admitted he wasn’t happy with his tea. Quite the coffee addict he was, I indulged him and went with him to Starbucks.

With everybody happy, we decided to them go home and sleep.
